RADIO SPINNER has a collection of radio transcripts, airchecks and special broadcasts. This is another rare find from Aircheck City. This is an unedited/intact radio recording of the band The Clash from the WNEW FM segment called “Off The Record” hosted by Mary Turner, recorded as broadcast on 2-2-83. Band members Joe Strummer, Mick Jones and Paul Simonon are interviewed by Mary Turner. They talk about their beginnings back to 1976, their recordings, tours and cuts from various albums are played. Airchecks are recorded from radio broadcasts as it happened as a piece of documented music history. Most airchecks are recorded on tape which might have a break in conversation or song due to tape flipping then transferred to Compact Disc. No artwork or jewel cases are included, pictures are for illustration only, CD's are labeled and enclosed in a plain white envelope, they are shipped in a protective bubble pack shipping envelope.
